Eight years of Billy’s life have been lived in a tent in the wilderness. He’s been charged by bears, survived a boat wreck, nearly drown in a river, witnessed two airplane wrecks, and endured countless challenges, but perhaps the greatest by-product of his many years of guiding in Alaska is the people he’s met, (most of whom are 10-30 years his senior). The wisdom and life lessons he’s gleaned from these mentors have helped Billy immensely in all aspects of his personal, professional, and spiritual life. Nature is the language I best understand, so it comes natural to me to relate my experiences in the Alaskan wilderness with people from just about any walk of life. Inspirational Speaker
August 17, 2011 Billy Molls was all alone the Brooks Range mountains of Alaska as his wife, Stacia, was back home, 3,000 miles away in Wisconsin, going into labor. That was the day Billy cried out in repentance to God, surrendered his life to Jesus Christ, and was born again. Billy knew his sins were forgiven and from that day forward his life would never be the same. He didn’t hear an audible voice, but God clearly spoke the words “Share this”. Hours later, he discovered his 3rd daughter (Francesca) was born and both she and mother were both safe and healthy.
For five years, Billy wrestled with God as to how he was called to “share this”. He considered going to seminary, but he knew that wasn’t what God wanted. Finally, in 2016, on a grueling Dall sheep hunt, Billy’s calling was confirmed: to share his faith to hunters. Since then, Billy has shared his faith in his writings, on his Modern Day Mountain Man and Trust The Guide hunting films, and also as a public speaker at a variety of Men’s ministries and Christian outreaches. As one of the foremost Christian speakers in the hunting arena, Billy shares his testimony boldly across the US and internationally evangelizing and discipling men. Billy staunchly maintains he was called to the wilderness to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
