August 17, 2011 found Billy Molls all alone in the Brooks Range mountains of Alaska as his wife, Stacia, was in labor 3,000 miles away back home in Wisconsin. That was the day Billy cried out in repentance to God, surrendered his life to Jesus Christ, and was born again.
Billy knew his sins were forgiven and from that day forward his life would never be the same. He didn’t hear an audible voice, but God clearly spoke the words “Share this.” Hours later, he discovered his 3rd daughter (Francesca) was born and she and mother were both safe and healthy.
For five years, Billy wrestled with God as to how he was called to “share this”. He considered going to seminary, but he eventually discovered that wasn’t what God wanted. Finally in 2016, on a grueling Dall sheep hunt, Billy’s calling was confirmed: to share his faith to hunters. Since then, Billy has shared his faith in his writings, in his Modern Day Mountain Man and Trust The Guide hunting films, and also as a public speaker at a variety of Men’s ministries and Christian outreaches. As one of the foremost Christian speakers in the hunting arena, Billy shares his testimony boldly across the US and internationally, evangelizing and discipling men. Billy staunchly maintains he was called to the wilderness to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
