Alaska Hunting Adventures

For 25 years Billy has guided hundreds of hunts across Alaska for brown bear, grizzly bear, moose, Dall sheep, caribou, and wolf. He currently specializes in brown bear, grizzly bear, and Dall Sheep. However, he guides a maximum of 3 hunts per year. Because he gives his repeat clientele first right of right of refusal, Billy has limited—if any—personal availability. That said, he is willing and happy to use his vast expertise to serve hunters by helping them select the best area, species, outfitter, time of year, and style of hunt to help ensure your next adventure is a success. Every hunter yearns for adventure that can only be found in the untouched wilds of North America’s Last Frontier. Whether it’s forging deep into the mountains in search of Dall sheep, calling rut-crazed bull moose to a riverbank, or matching wits with the ever-intelligent, fearless grizzly, I can help make your dream hunt a reality. Having guided in Alaska for 25 years, I’ve hunted in some of the most remote, game-rich areas of the state for Dall sheep, caribou, moose, brown bear, grizzly bear, and wolf (mountain goat, black bear, and blacktail deer are also available). While there are no guarantees you’ll shoot a 70-inch moose, a 10-foot bear, or a 40-inch ram on these fair chase hunts, I’ll do everything in my power to ensure that your Alaskan adventure exceeds your expectations.

No words can describe the exhilaration you’ll experience when you finally crest that mountain and find a full curl ram in your scope, the excitement when the grunt of a bull moose breaks the frosty morning stillness and he strikes his massive antlers against a willow bush, the overwhelming force of nature as you witness herds of caribou stretched across the tundra from horizon to horizon as they begin their fall migration, or experience an indescribable instinctive awareness as you scan the alders in search of that giant grizzly or brown bear.
